Powdery Mildew
Powdery mildew is a fungus that thrives in stagnant moist air. It is especially problematic in marine layer influence areas and indoors where air movement is minimal. You can treat powdery mildew with a spray on fungicide, such as copper fungicide or saturate a rag with fungicide and wipe it off. Be sure to get into all the little cracks between leaves and stems. Remember that unless the underlying conditions are changed you will likely continue to see mildew return. Add airflow and sun. Reduce moisture and humidity. Plants suseptibailty to powdery mildew varies and often pivoting to a different plant will yield the best long term results.
